Oui, c'est la. That's Carnac alright - I'd recognise that fence anywhere. It runs for miles, preventing entry, and spoiling photos from a distance. Mind you, the fence has resulted in vegetation growing back. If you want to get in you have to book a tour, but out of season there are no tours. (September, when we went, there were no tours, just locked gates and the ubiquitous fence). That's how we found it in 2006.

That has ruined my plans for 2008; I was going to go for my 40th but not sure I fancy yet another disneyfied site. Ah well, at least I have been warned!
