Well, I hope they're going to test them against Kerry bluestone. Merlin you naughty man! If Greece ever get the Elgin Marbles back, Ireland will be demanding Stonehenge be returned!

I heard from a source connected to the project that they're not bluestone at all and may have come from the Malverns.

The suggestion was that they have no prehistoric significance whatsoever and the team is bitterly disappointed.
