Thanks. I cited "Little and Long Meg, in Cumbria, and at Calderstones, in Liverpool". I should have also, maybe, have included Newgrange and Gavrinis. What were those Neolithic tombs called that had an open passageway and were drystone heaps ? What if the passageway was later closed with dirty great boulders, infilled with rubble ? Would it look like this ? ( http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/7532 ). Those pictures don't do it justice ! Would/could there be any rock art expected at such a spot ?
