Does a rolling Moss gather any stones?

No, he can't pick them up prefers a stick any day. ;) But here's a question for dogs, how do they react round the dark caves of longbarrows such as WKLB and Stoney Littleton - are they spooked? do they sense other beings?

Not mine. She's been into WKLB and seemed completely at ease with the place, and she's on the nervy side of normal. She was good in the fogues (sp?) too - didn't seem remotely worried.

My old pup did WKLB, Silbury, Avebury, Rollright and more than I can remember...he liked the option of lots of places to piss at Avebury, ran all over Silbury, and loved the inside of WKLB because it was shady and he hated the heat of the sun. He barked madly for nearly an hour [very unusual] at a Tai Chi woman at the solstice at Rollright, but was happiest of all on BA barrows. He adored Winns Common, it meant we were out for more than a short stroll!
