Dammit now I'm all worked up and ready to lay in the road!
There's something very satisfying in being arrested for a good cause - it makes the 'enemy' look really nasty and small-minded :-) And if you end up with a criminal record for your conscientious actions there's the added benefit of never having to do jury service - particularly valuable if you happen to be self employed ;-)

I don't have a record and have come to the stage where it wouldn't matter at all if i got one so if you can think of a good cause and something we can do that will yield lots of scope for righteous posing and only a small fine then I'm definitely up for it. Avebury? Next month? (I think I can get another recruit as well!)

Cynic!! My motives are pure!!

Getting a criminal record is nothing - Tarmac's records will be far more criminal than mine.
