What if​…

Have been thinking about this for some time now but recent sad events have brought it to the fore again.

What if The Modern Antiquarian had to close down for some reason - would everything just disappear? It doesn't bear thinking about - would all the notes, images, information etc be lost from this central point of reference? Is there a plan in place to ensure that the wealth of ideas and information that TMA now holds is not lost?

It would be a tricky one. Every post is copyright of the poster, so permission would have to be obtained from each person to hold it elsewhere ... ARE YOU LISTENING GOOOOOGLE!!!!!!!!

I think about that quite a lot. All those blogs on blogger etc... films on youtube... shite on myspace... all the servers are probably in San Francisco or Naples or London or...
