I saw Here and Now in '78 on one of their free tours. When they passed the hat around and the end of the (very poor) gig they got a handful of copper and a few bottle tops. They were most upset and started abusing the crowd. Not the cleverest thing to do in a tough Middlesbrough punk club.

Not listened to it though! I walked out of a Daevid Allen gig halfway through once ('81?) - that is my only contact so far - there's not many gigs that I've exited prematurely. There was so much excellent music around at the time. (and there still is).
