Hi folks, I know some of you are web wizards so I'm wondering if you can help me out. I've been thinking about doing an intro to my own website so that when you click or type the URL you get a welcome screen which will have some photos fading in and out alternating with text on a simple black background and a link to go straight into the site.

I know next to nothing about flash and could do it with an animated GIF but I'd like smooth fade ins and outs and a 'professional' appearance. I would probably use 10 photos at around 100-150k each.

Anyone know of a no-brain-required method and/or program that can accomplish this?
