Why don't people ever learn. Never take the first sub-version of a new version of any Microsaft product :-)
I use Firefox all the time myself but the wife hasn't taken to it at all! I dont mind a bit of mischief with IE :)

Yeah. IE7 imposes 'proper'* CSS style cascading, so items without a specific style inherit the parent element's style. This means that when the body of a page is centred everything else will be unless it's specifically not centred. GAH!
Oh bugger, my site has CSS. I think a 17th century hand weaver would do a better job than I did...

It looks very nice actually, the fonts are smoother...

Yes. I'd heard that they've introduced some font smoothing stuff (nicked that from Safari on the Mac too :-) and it probably has the correct font, rather than second choice of Verdana. Good to hear!

All our stuff at work has to work with IE6, so I'm not allowed to play with IE7 (don't know what sort of smilie to put there)

Don't worry about CSS problems. From what I've heard centreing (or should that be centering? looks bloody weird anyway!) is the main problem with it. Firefox can do the same thing sometimes, too, with dodgey CSS.
