Hey Stonelifter (and anyone else) fancy a trip into space?
http://dawn.jpl.nasa.gov/

I've just received confirmation that I'm going -

"Congratulations, Handsoff Stonehenge!
Your name is traveling aboard the Dawn spacecraft on its mission to the Asteroid Belt!"

"Congratulations, Handsoff Stonehenge!

that of course is the solution, Stonehenge in space, whirling around merrily, no people aboard, no roads, immortalised forever..;)

I've been fascinated by the space race since a kid - but I just see it as an enormous big distraction now. You've got to come back always. The Atlas/Titan boosters bunch dirty great holes through the sky (and so on). Yuri Gagarin was cool though - I was part of the metallurgy of satellite casing for a short while - Telstar?
