Hello!
Sorry I didnt put the references for the folklore. The info is from a book by James Kennedy called "The Folklore and Reminiscences of Strathtay and Grandtully," printed in 1927. I'll add the reference notes to the sites straight away.

Thanks , I have never come across the book but will now be on the look out for it .
