Lots of stuff by Piper and Samuel Palmer and also a lot of Paul Nash...that I don't like!

As I sat being bombarded by images I thought a lot of Jane's work, it would have fitted in very well.
It sounds like a wonderful lecture, I wish I could have been there and I'm honored to be in such esteemed company in your mind; with one caveat - that I hope you *do* like my work, Mr H!

I'm painting lots of pebbles at the moment (http://www.janetomlinson.com/images/paintings/justapileofstones.jpg for example) rather than specific megalithic sites. Needless to say each pebble has its own story.

Come on, that's a ruddy photograph!
;)

Wow Jane - the way you've caught the light and texture - superb. Put's my 'duck' picture to shame!!!

Wow - like the pebbles. Reminded me right away of a painting by Mu Ch'i of Six Persimmons* - one of my all time favourite paintings :-)

Love the pebbles Jane...and I am a fan of your work....which is why I thought of it during the talk.
