I'd just like to say "Hello and Welcome" too all the new folks hereabouts who have added to what has turned out to be the "let's discuss gender and race" thread.

It's nice to see so many people who have lurked coming and posting for the first time. any more out there?

And... I'd like to add that everyone "new" is welcomed equally... speaking for myself and based on my experience it was the same as entering a room at a party - joining into social banter and adding something hopefully worthwhile to the discussions!!

Sheez.. you have no clue. In this corner of my housing estate its considered bad luck to be welcomed into a party of strangers unless you have first offered to wash everyones feet. Please try and be more sensitive to those of us from no's 35 to 64.
