Is it just me, or does anyone get the impression that Sue hasn't actually visited many panels in situ. No problem with her cup mark hypotheses, but stating that most "rings" & "peck marks" are natural is highly suspect! I may have it totally wrong, but I have this vision of her reading geology books & visiting 8 sites a year that look to meet her preconceived idea of debateability. Most rings I've seen are highly unlikely to be natural, given the design + peck marks are called peck marks because of how they appear different to rest of the stone.

I might need to look for a guest speaker..
