As the recorder of the stone was on a visit with me at the time, and I was showing him the stone row, then the stone should be pitched in with the entries for the stone row. No evidence for a medieval wall, such as it being shown on the 1838 estate map, has yet been provided - they didn't make walls like that here ever - and, also, the date 'Aug 30 2004' is wrong. It was May 30 2004 and the correct name for the site is Thornhope. Not Low Thornhope, which is lifted from the OS.
