yeah the whole time we were there we could hear what I think was a helicopter on standby waiting for the go-ahead... the fog cleared away a little bit before we left. Out of the 6-7 times I've been up in Aberdeen I would say half have been foggy...

It was pretty special last week, but usually over the summer we just got the 'Haar'. It doesn't penetrate much further inland than Tyrebagger Hill, so if you're in it, try heading for the more inland sites & it'll probably be sunny & warm (yes, even here ;-)

Doesn't help much if you have to go from the airport tho ;-(
