I do forgive the fanciful thought, although it seems that within this arena those that dismiss the 'earh energy, transpersonal perspective' are those that rant on and on and on about it so much, any perspective is just that a perspective....not the whole show! It reminds me of the old story of blind men feeling a elephant and each having a different picture. It allso reminds me of the qoute ' thou prosteth to much' regards MM

ooops ment protesteth.....heheheh MM

"It allso reminds me of the qoute ' thou prosteth to much' " - so you're saying they secretly actually believe it's all true but they're afraid to be seen to admit it.
Yes I expect that is the explanation, good thinking. I expect Darwin was one of those too. And the Pope. No hang on, - surely that works both ways doesn't it. Perhaps believers in earth energies protest too much??

It never cease to amaze me how much like politicians people have become in their ludicrous selectivity of quotes and info: e.g. -

"any perspective is just that a perspective....not the whole show!"

Makes a lotta sense and causes a natural "hmmm...yeah, true."

And then: "It reminds me of the old story of blind men feeling a elephant and each having a different picture."

Very good analogy to a variety of things and for me gets a good pat-on-the-back. It'd be nice to waffle such things over a pint or a walk in the hills.

But then we have thus: "It allso reminds me of the qoute ' thou prosteth to much'"

...to which there's the obvious slap to people who think too much of both themselves and their opinions (believers and egocentrics on the whole). And to which a thread spins off on it's own, disregarding the two previous very good points. Is this a forum of retards sometimes?
