'Standing Stones' on the Cooley mountains. Looks great, but is it modern or is it 'real'? I lean towards fake but there's quite a bit of stuff on the TMA map round this area that hasn't been documented here.

This definitely looks fake, but one of the most appealing fakes I've ever seen!

The photographer is Andy Spearman from Drogheda, has an exhibition in Brú na Boinne from Monday on which is worth catching.

I have seen a picture of the 'dolmen' before and have always thought it suspicious. As for the other thing ... well, I haven't a clue what that could be. If it's a ring-cairn or a stone circle it's a bloody odd one!

Anthony Weir certainly doesn't mention them. He's a Down based man, so I'd have thought he would have heard of them.
