Then I dreamt it too. But then recently I saw (or dreamt) that some suitably hardnosed dna-tweaking sciency folk somewhere have evidence that we may have neanderthal genes. I'll see if I can find a link.

There is one child's skeleton found in Spain that is thought (by some) to be a modern human/Neanderthal 'cross'.
