Make sure that your filenames are saved in JPEG format and end in ".jpg" otherwise the system won't be able to work out what filetype they are.

Let us know if you have any problems beyond that

Thanks,
TMA Ed.

I use Irfanview to resize my photos:

http://www.irfanview.com/

Free, and allows you to change their format easily. Save as Jpegs, Gifs Bitmaps whatever you want. For resizing large batches though, I've recently discovered this:

http://www.virtualzone.de/resizer/

Which will do a whole directory in one go. Also free.

TMA Ed - that's the problem I've got - how do I change them back to J-PEG files? This is what they were originally until I loaded the seriph software to the system. Now it says they're seriph pictures. Even the photos I've loaded on TMA in the past won't load on now and I don't know how to save them back as jpegs, because I didn't consciously change them to Seriph pictures? .

Am I making sense? Sorry to be a nuisance, I can't see what to do. Hopeless, just hopeless.
