We've still not worked out a firm date for the images that appear on Flash Earth. Summer, certainly, and probably after 2001, but which month and year ? Perhaps they are a mosaic from different sources. People, sheep and cars show up extremely well and it should be possible on a suburban street to look at the colours of the cars parked outside the houses and to place the year.
