Bit of a problem for me here! Downloaded file but the GE program then freezes and doesn't run. I had downloaded the Meg Portal file which is similar but turned this off to compare the two. Help!

Are you sure that GE has frozen?
I had a similar problem, the dataset loads but you couldn’t do anything with the software but I noticed that it was using up all the available processor cycles so I assumed that it something was borked and closed it. Tried it a few times with the same result then left it running while I went to get some breakfast – when I came back it was working and had stopped consuming all the processor time. Looks like it needs a few minutes to completely load the data up plus it also uses a lot of memory, currently about 180MB. For comparison this computer is an Athlon 2GHz with 512 MB Ram.
Try it again then go and make a cuppa, see if it’s working when you get back.

I've had that, I find restarting it generally does the trick though!!
