I think my partner in crime, rocknicker, may have a few views on the subject. ;)

I first got into geotrashing when I found some stuff over in Northumberland at Lordenshaws, which I took away and it was replaced and I took the second one away and I bet there's another one there now. It was hidden under rocks which were actually a collapsed wall but may have easily been a prehistoric cairn, cos the place is littered with them. It was a tupperware box full of shite wrapped in a smelly wet binliner. I threw it out.

I have absolutely no problems saying I'm a geotrasher. Geotrashing is a fairly new pastime to sweep it's way across the UK. Often likened to a "treasure hunt" geotrashing is an enjoyable way to enjoy the great countryside and get out into the fresh air and away from the TV/PC or whatever. Many find that it is a gentle and easy way to get some exercise and the kids love it too.

The real "treasure" in geotrashing though, is the location, enjoying nature, the countryside and getting there.
