I spent a few weeks exploring Corsica about thirteen years ago. I loved it. Nice beaches, good mountain hiking, scenic roads and great food. A bit of a hidden gem of the Mediterranean. I didn't know they also had stones worthy of Julian's curiosity. Its not a cheap place, by the way.
