Rhiannon have'nt read all the posts on this thread, but would'nt mind the Michael Dames, Silbury, quite liked his irish book as well. Alternative/fluffy reading expands the mind and does not necessarily have to be believed, might swop for the two Richard Bradley books, - Natural places and Significance of Monuments.. see you found the photos by the way ;)

Actually Moss, I didn't find the photos (I must be a bit thick) though I enjoyed reading your latest northstoke blogs.

Like a mug I may have offered the Dames book to fitzcoraldo already - I thought maybe it was too 'fluffy' for you.

I've got 'the pattern of the past' though which has some local things in it, as Mr Underwood was from round these parts. Any use?
