If you're stampeded in a north-easterly direction, you could contemplate trying to find the 'lost' carvings of Amerside Law. No-one's seen them for a while.

That's exactly the place I was thinking about poking around when i go up there... I was drawn to it because on the OS Explorer map of the woods its full of rock outcrops and boulders, Cheers Hob
