Eeh, the last time I saw Fairport play live - it must have been (let me see) - ermm, 1970. At the Bardney Folk and Jazz Fair ! Now that was a good gig. (They don't make them like that any more, etc).

Dunno they're repeats but BBC4's Folk Britannia (Freeview) on Friday nights (9-10pm) is brilliant! This Friday (2/3 in the series) is about how, "Folk was repackaged in the 1960s to appeal to a wider audience."
