Hey !

These stones need formally recording - http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/7186 - desperately. I've painted little white crosses on the aerial imagery to show where I remember them to be. Three, in a hard-to-find group, I'm happy to mark with a wooden peg.

Can you find Slaggy (as the place is affectionally known) on the O. S. ?

Hey backatcha Mr Lifter
Myself and others have offered to walk around these sites with you and the offer still stands.

Aw god - here we go again. This aint a prehistoric rock carving. Get over it - or perhaps develop a new central nervous system which enables you to see the real thing. It's not that difficult for god sake - a tit like me can do it.

Stonelifter, I give in, I’ll visit these blighters on behalf of N&DRAP. I’ll only record them if I think they’re rock art though, as I would do with any other potential carving.... is that fair enough? & will you accept an opinion if it doesn't match your own?
