These stones need formally recording - http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/7186 - desperately. I've painted little white crosses on the aerial imagery to show where I remember them to be. Three, in a hard-to-find group, I'm happy to mark with a wooden peg.

Can you find Slaggy (as the place is affectionally known) on the O. S. ?

Now I've found this stone I'm definitely going back to try and give the place a good coat of looking at, as always I'd welcome the company.
