But im up for a broadrange !

Hit me with Any Neolithic,Bronze age stuff in the area would be good if they are visually impressive as we have a 9 year old well into it all and they groove on the Big stuff
Shes already done Anglesey,Cornwall,The Downs,Wales and all the Yorkshire/derbyshire/Midlands stuff in our area

Unfortunatly our car wont make it to Aberdeenshire this year so the lowlands it is .....

Cheers

Hi..

Looks like you should keep to the main sites..stop off at [[Cairnholy 1 & 2]], maybe try [[Glenquickan]]. Make a small change to your route and head for the Cream O' Galloway ice cream factory and farm, a great place to spend a day, the kids are kept happy and it gives you an excuse to try some of the best ice cream anywhere...When you head down to Newton Stewart, aim for the Wigtown area about 6 miles from Newton Stewart. There you can visit the likes of [[Drumtroddan Carved Rocks & Standing Stones]] and even [[Torhousekie]]. For the younger members of the party try the butterfly house on the way to Wigtown, even i enjoyed that one. The rock art which you may have noticed is my thing,lol..is mostly on farm land, cows etc...so maybe not the best when the kids are with you. One area we recently visited was [[Caves of Kilhern]], we both really enjoyed that one, though the weather was not too great. I can give you lists for rock art sites, but as i say alot if not all are on farm land, cows are not always to happy to have you walking across their fields..If you need more help..just ask.
