I've just come across Moth's 2003 image of Sleeping Beauty. It makes her look 'too busty' and was clearly not taken from the Callanish site.

So I've posted one taken from the site on the evening of 10th June 2006. I've added the names of the mountains / hills in South Lochs for those with detailed maps of Lewis. http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/47389

Years ago, we went for a family walk and climbed on her 'nose' - a spectacular outcrop of rock.

I've cropped out foreground sheep to avoid the ribaldry of the previous set of posts about the sleeping Beauty

No, you're quite right - my pic wasn't taken from Callanish, Gerald. :^)

I never said it was (in fact at the time I posted it, I may well have said it wasn't!) It's one of the reasons I posted it under 'Callanish & environs'.

I'll edit the note to make it clear.

'TOO busty'???? Is that possible? ;^)
