Happy Solstice!

To all you friendly folk over there, from a stone-deprived bloke over here! Got up early to watch the sun rise over the mountains beyond Wellington harbour, only to be foiled by the late-running Tranz Metro "Express". Grrr!

Peace

And to you Pilgrim. Lovely to see you back on TMA x

Hei and a happy Solstice/Sankthansaften to you all from the Norwegian sea.
This morning the sunrise was obscurred by fog but we now have a nice fresh breeze which has blown away the fog and whipped up a few white horses.
Midsummer in Norway is celebrated on the 23rd. They've Christianised it into St Johns Eve but they don't let that get in the way of a good party

Happy Solstice everyone! We saw a beautiful sunrise and found fame at Mitchell's Fold:

Happy Solstice to all!

I didn't see the Sunrise (Bloody driving rain got in the way) but I was looking in the right direction at the right time :-)

Braved the cold, wind and rain at Castlerigg

About 50sih people there to see in the solstice

Happy solstice

I thought of you... it's hard to imagine it's a year since were were 'lever mates'.
