Well, we're back!

And I must say, what a fantastic week we had... Callanish on Sunday was amazing! Taking photos around midnight without the need for a flash was weird..!

What a shame we didn't all arrange to meet up, though. Woulda bin nice to put a few more faces to names! Managed to meet up with Dee and Gerald Ponting (et al) in the Doune Braes Hotel on the Monday, which was excellent - what a nice bunch of people! All absolutely nuts, naturally... ;o)

The moon in all it's glory coming out just after midnight was one of the most extraordinary sights I've seen. Enormous and bright orange... >sigh<

I have to say, we didn't see any bad behaviour (except the inconsiderate sods taking up the upper parking area when the car park by the visitor centre was all but empty! And the people camping so close to the stones could have been a bit more thoughtful with their location) - everyone seemed pretty ecstatic and happy and friendly to me...

Vicster - Didn't get the chance to go see your possible sites, unfortunately, but will do next time! We're so sad to be back, so a return visit will probably be sooner than we imagine... ;o)
