Thanks to Pete G posting his link to Google maps, I've become somewhat addicted to this newly enhanced mapping service!

Sadly, Thornborough is still lower resolution, but I had a good old study of Stonehenge's surrounds (some great markings in the fields!)... But this new nearby industrial estate or whatever it is looks to be a bit near some barrows for my liking...

And does anyone know what this might be?

Goffik,
The bottom link is the excavations of several mounds and a ring of postholes on Porton down in preparation for a new airport and new road when they finaly widen of the A303.
I believe Wessex archaeology are doing the business but I wouldn't hold my breath awaiting any reports as it has been a long process.
Every time they move some more earth something else pops up.
I see this often when flying in and out of Thruxton airfield (sorry, I don't take passengers anymore)

"And does anyone know what this might be?"

If you are near Stonehenge, maybe its Woodhenge?

The same area, looking very different.

Earl's Farm Down looks like it's been pummelled by tanks.
