Lads can be a term for both guys and gals in Ireland if thats what you getting at.

Well its meant to be where the Irish St.Brigid/ Goddess Brigid was born/ became a nun.
I was thinking possibly the nipple on top of the hill being her breast with her belly and legs away to the right.
But like you said even if its not a recumbant figure it is a very important (and to me beautiful hill) in the landscape.

It sounds Very important, then. I think you have to see these places in the flesh anyway, do you not. So I will reserve full judgement until then!
