Some of you know that I've started a club called Henge Warriors, which is for music freaks who want to do good by the ancient sites - we organise music events and festivals in support of heritage campaigns.

This was inspired by the fight to save the Thornborough Complex - last year we did a one day Thornborough Festival which has turned into an annual event - this year it will be three days and involves more than 70 bands. A tenner secures access, camping and parking for the whole event.

Well, it looks like I've secured the site for another festival. How does a Nine Ladies festival in the Peak district grab you? Still early days, but I'm thinking possibly August next year.

.....sounds fuckin great!! If you want weird music there, giz a shout...always up for things like this..

Looks great ... in both locations! But when is the Thornborough one ... I can't see any dates on that link.
Cheers

I've been thinking on this for a while. How does organising something that encourages a very large gathering at a site do it any good? I reckon it can only be detrimental to the site, especially when it becomes a multi-day event with camping etc.
