People who don't believe rock art exists? Please elaborate, because that sounds most intriguing. I suppose they don't believe it's prehistoric? Because they'd have to believe in its physical reality if you dropped some on their toes. I admire them going to a conference about rock art if they think it's complete rot.

Hey ! Arts Council England don't believe that Rock Art exists. They have no problem with the 'rock' bit (I'd like to drop some on their shiny cars and leave their toes unblemished) it's just that last part they object to. A Rock Art conference (in the widest sense) is the last place one'd find them ...

They are geologists who had seen photos of eroded RA and thought that the carvings were natural features, which, given the existance of marvelous things like these: http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/3247 is sort of understandable.
RockartUK invited them along to show then that there are freshly pecked motifs, and upon seeing the likes of this: http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/37309 which convinced them that these are the results of human activity.
