What a nice bit of anti-roman propaganda that programme was.

Most enjoyable :)

Warning: Prehistoric purists may have suffered apoplexy. The word 'Celt' was used about three times per sentence.

>What a nice bit of anti-roman propaganda that programme was.<

It was an excellent bit of anti-Roman propaganda and good to see the historical imbalance being redressed :-)

The word 'Celt' was rather over used but surely that which defines 'culture' is the way of 'artistically' portraying a shared belief system and a common language (with some regional differences of course) to express those beliefs. In that sense there does seem to be a common culture as far as the 'Celts' are concerned and one that reached as far as parts of Britain and Ireland. In that sense I don't really have a problem with the use of the word 'Celt'.

As for the Coligny Calendar, the programme was worth watching just for that!
