It certainly rings alarm bells, although as we know it is very easy to take these statements out of context. What really interests me is how people in here are being really quite reasonable about this considering if it was another individual who is less well known , liked, respected, or not the founder of the forum, they would be lambasted , derided and demonised.

Just an afterthought if he did say this he is either very naive (due to how it can be interpreted) or???

Oh dear! Haven't been here for a while and I'll not take my coat of as I'm not stopping.

Not often I agree with MuddyMick and Morfe, but I do on this. What a plonker! Amusing to see the loyalists attempting a more positive spin with even more tosh about "manana". How offensive is that!

Does Mr C not know what latitude is? Does he not know what other "races" occupy the same latitude as his white/protestant/German Scandinavian master race? Does he know nothing of their history, culture and achievements? Does he believe that the past millenium was the only one?

As MuddyMick implies - if anyone else had come on here and written such stuff, they would have been given a right roasting. Deafening silence from the resident TMA liberals. Perhaps Mr C was mis-reported - if so it would be helpful to have the record put right.

Bye!

You've made a good point Mick and we all should respond or at least think about it.
Personally I think Morfe has captured it in a nutshell.

>It certainly rings alarm bells

Mebbe that was it's purpose. I imagine that a character as apparently difficult to classify as Mr Cope, might well go in for a bit of attempted wrongfooting when talking to reporters.

I reckon most of the people who post here are at least vaguely aware that 'The Bloke Who Wrote The Book The Website's Named After' is a bit of a strange beastie, and would assume he's just being a barmy rockstar type out to get a reaction. Similar opinons from randomly anonymous posters would probably be mercilessly scourged, beacuse there's no a priori frame of reference to let readers put ambiguity into context, be it irony, bigotry, ignorance or just plain barmyness. I'm probably stating the obvious in a needlessly waffley manner, if so, apologies.

Or, it could be that the fiendish web design of Mr McGrail has subliminally brainwashed us all into unconditionally accepting the pronouncements of The Author Of The Book, prior to the final step in Cope's grand plan to immanentise the eschaton by sending arcane patterns of megalithic information whizzing through modems of the English speaking world.

Not at all, we've all chilled out since it became clear that the world is in fact dominated by jewish reptilian masons from the lower house extension, and particularly because the world will end either end in 2012 or we'll kill the all reptiles with a human race love-bomb.

On a less serious note, I've seen reductionism and I've seen reductionism but that quote's plain lettuce. Kind of blows any anarchistic credentials out of the water too, page one, paragraph one of my anarchism for dummies says domination in any form is only exceptable in exceptional conditions. I just hope the possible exceptional conditions have nothing to do with undertones that might seep out of certain remarks in May's 'Druidon'...
