Have you really bought the game or is this a subtle bit of advertising?

The guy who created the game lives in Looe and used Duloe Circle and St Keyne well for inspiration...still waiting for my copy...

Mr H

I finished Barrow Hill a few days ago, and can say it was well worth seeking out. In fact, I'm guessing I'll be playing it again some time soon. A glance at online walkthroughs (guides to playing the game) revealed I'd missed a few puzzles and areas. No problem. It gives me an excuse to return to the wooded hill known as Barrow Hill.

I'm very intrigued to hear that the stone circle is based on a real site. That's a great excuse for a Cornish holiday. I did find a map, of East Cornwall, hidden away in the website. It's a fun feature, as it explores the landmarks which inspired the game locations. It's not all ancient stone circles, and pagan wells...there's phone masts, gas stations and rusting phone boxes. It's wonderful to think the game world exists for real, hidden away in that part of England.

Time to pack a suitcase! The game has inspired a strong interest in learning more about ancient sites, Celtic tradition and digging below the surface of South West England. It's great to have websites, like this one, to discover where and when to visit the locations. The map browser will prove to be a great assett when exploring.

Thanks for the info!
