>Always good to visit either of them no matter what conditions

Yes it is. I'm flipping raging with myself for choosing to avoid the traffic rather than go to Kiltiernan this evening, saw the most surreal looking red sunset I've seen in months while out walking the dog earlier.

>Your latest Castlelanaght pictures turned out ok didn't they :-)

Yeah I think so! Better than the last effort here and also the first proper excursion with the new D200. It really is a beautiful piece of engineering and the changeover hasn't been as tough as when I got the D70.
I definitely did see the place in a 'whole new light' (pardon the pun) this time around, I was on a direct course to Reanascreena when I got a gut feeling to go to Castlenalaght and stay for sunset. Even when it rained I sat and watched the end of the show from the car and am glad I did.

I am planning to check out Boleycarrigeen tomorrow to see if those trees are finally gone and if the place looks like a nuclear strike. Latest weather has rain all day though : (

Nice!

Just bought myself a 10-20mm lens ... MMMmmmmmm !!! Off out today to play with it :-)
