You wouldn't find them simply because you wouldn't look for them. Nobody has.
This one's interesting ( http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/37222 ) and easy to find, as it's upright. The stones are mostly in shit condition and vandalised. Soft sandstone - 'on their last legs'. Couldn't have a less caring landowner - which is why they so keenly need locating by GPS and recording.
