At the risk of sounding like I'm on the wrong forum here, I would ask people, where possible, to use specialist, independent shops rather than the bastard behemoth that is Tesco (and Asda etc). Their constant assualt on independent retailers has now extended to outdoor/leisure shops; soon we will just have one giant shop in every tow, selling everything under one roof. How depressing.
