I believe it was Henry Ford that said he knew half of his advertisng was pointless, but no one could tell him which half.

Yes and also famously proclaiming that history was bunk.

We could all test the oak v ash one this spring and see if it does accurately forecast a wet or dry summer.

Both trees are among the last to come into leaf so:

Oak before ash - we're in for a splash

Ash before oak - we're in for a soak

50:50 so no big deal either way. ;o)
