As in Cromlech, which means bent or crooked stone and comes from Breton (note also Crom links to the 'Celtic'/Irish god Crom Dubh). Lech also appears in Welsh and Cornish (I think). The closest in Irish is 'lia' (as in the Stone of Destiny) with a plural of <i>liag</i>. Curiously lia can also mean a physician!

OT now, leprechaun has Crom links too (the 'chaun' bit)

Then there are at least two Trelech place names in Wales - meaning three stones as in the unfortunately Anglicised "Harold Stones".
