My mate Postman Rat (just Rat to his friends) got so fed up with cold callers trying to sell him a conservatory that in the end he relented and asked them to come over and measure up. They did. Rat, however, lives on the top floor of a high-rise apartment block :-)

Rat is a skinhead with a stud through his lower lip. He delivers the post with an attitude. First time I ever met Rat was in my local, I was on the way down to post some letters to Egypt (from where I'd just returned). Rat saw them and we got talking. He's only about 30 I think but he's one of the most travelled people I know - China, Vietnam, Cambodia, South America. Rat works just to travel - it's the one great quest in his life. I'm posting this to Nigel but if you're reading it jdennant I'd just like to say that TMA is a really great place where we keep on topic (most of the time :-) and have a lot of respect for each other's knowledge and experience in megalithic interests. It's not my place to 'welcome you aboard' but if you do decide to stay you'll find some really great people here, lots of serious discussions but also plenty of laughs.
