Yes - I agree. You have to consider the costs of securely housing, maintaining and restoring works of art etc. What really bugs me is the £million price tags that art gets only to have them locked away in vaults. Very nice earner too when someone wants too publish a book of illustrations. That is why the "owners" will come down heavily on pirate reproductions.
