I think all the full moons from March to Sept will be good. We're going for the July full moon as it's likely to be reasonably good weather (famous last words!) and not too cold (more famous last words!)

Jane - the midges will certainly be infinitely worse in July compared to June. and going for a day trip round Perthshire first is only going to lull you into a false sense of security, mwaaaah haaaah haaaaah haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
