Seeing as Goff responded I will also..

I enjoy The Fall in small doses..

Not too familiar with A Certain Ratio...so I suppose I didn't like them when I heard them...

Saw Durutti Column live once...great gig...manic drummer who was old enough to be the grandad of most of the audience. Never got around to buying anything by them...what do you suggest?
