I know it's a bit obscure, and non-archaeological, hence the post under "General", but, I'll get to the point now,:-

Is anyone into
1) A Certain Ratio,
2) The Durutti Column,
3) The Fall?

Being a northern monkey, I'm just interested in your fave tracks by those artists.
Mine are, in order,

1) Wild Party
2) Miss Haymes
3) Crop Dust (just ahead of It's the New Thing). but it changes regularly.

In a non-archaeological reply, I am a MASSIVE fan of The Fall! The others I can't comment on, but The Fall? Yup!

However, I can't think of a favourite track, as, like yourself, it changes all the time... I would say my all time favourite album, though, is Hex Enduction Hour... Never get bored of that one...

On a related note - Didn't Mark E Smith and Julian Cope's paths cross on several occasions?

I would willingly sacrifice Stonehenge for nothing less than at least 3 more Fall studio albums.

Funnily enough I put the Mark E Smith Head On stuff up on The Fall website.

Something about Copey seeing them 28 times in one year before they were signed. Walking with Smith and Ian Muculloch or some such, gushing fan boy stuff.
